The Overview

UNF Student Union

My most recent job was working forthe University of North Florida's Student Union as a Graphic Designer. The student union holds a weekly event called Market Days where local vendors, clubs, and organizations come together to sell their wares, advertise what they do, and connect with each other. My job is to create social media posts and signage around the student union to promote this event and other events we hold on campus. I am also responsible for creating internal signage, email signatures, edit photos from the events and other things to market what we do at the student union.

When producing graphics for events at the student union, we adapt our designs for a multitude of formats. For instance, for Market Days, the most common formats we design for is the Instagram page, physical flyers posted around the union, and a slide on the TV screen. Each event design you see, has a extended system build around it.

Signage

For events that need signage, we develop graphics based on the design made for the social media. Signage typically ranges from letter to tabloid size and stays within the same visual language to brand the vent as a whole

The Groovy Market Days Shirt

I was asked to create a t-shirt design for the Groovy Market Day event that would be used for a tie-dye craft. This shirt was produced by UNF and was given out to the student body only at this Market Day.
